Say “oats” and some may go, “boring” or “plain”.
But it does not have to be so. Captain Oats has found different ways that you can eat this healthy but underrated food.
The company’s executive director, Mr Michael Chew, says: “Oats is a versatile ingredient which can be taken as it is for those who like it that way.
“Alternatively, there are ways where one can get creative with oats recipes and enjoy it as mango oats milkshake, overnight oats with fresh berries, oat prawns or even tom yum oats porridge.
“It can be savoury or sweet, and it is your choice.”
The various recipes, adds Mr Chew, bring a fresh perspective to the palette and can be thoroughly enjoyed while you take in the nutritional goodness.
